What is the VCC?








The Vieux Carre is the second oldest preservation district in the country and the Vieux Carre Commission is the legislative body that regulates any and all alterations done to the exterior of buildings in the French Quarter. The official boundaries of the Vieux Carre are N. Rampart Street, Esplanade Avenue, the Mississippi River and Iberville Street.  All buildings located within these boundaries must comply with the VCC guidelines.   Continued  »
